Betty was born and raised in Pacific Grove, CA and attended UC Berkeley where she studied Economics and Music. After graduating, she spent the next decade in San Francisco experiencing the underground club scene, studying jazz, and working in fine dining. There, she had the privilege of working for Michelin star chefs like Michael Mina and Ron Siegel, and developed a true appreciation for the amazing cuisine, wine and cocktails. She then moved to Oakland to further hone her skills and knowledge, working behind the bars of Wood Tavern and Sidebar. Betty now brings her experience and creativity to the Boot, where she continues the tradition of delicious cocktails crafted with local and artisanal ingredients. If you’re really lucky, you may catch her singing or playing the piano in lounges around the Bay Area.
